Washer & Dryer Installation
Washer and dryer installation with new fill hoses, a proper dryer vent connection, leveling and a test cycle on existing hookups.
See the repairA new range, refrigerator or over-the-range microwave only works as well as it is installed. We set kitchen appliances on your existing hookups, level them, secure anti-tip brackets and test every function.

$165 to $315 typical for freestanding range, electric or gas
Appliance installation means uncrating the new unit, checking it for shipping damage, connecting it to the outlet, water line or gas shutoff already in place, leveling it and running a full test. We use a new gas connector or water supply line where needed. We do not add circuits, move gas lines or reroute plumbing. Call with the model numbers and we price the job before we start.
We repair Whirlpool, GE, Samsung, LG, KitchenAid, Bosch, Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador and the other names found in Valley kitchens and laundry rooms.
Delivery crews drop a range or refrigerator in place. Installation is what happens next: checking the model fits the opening and the hookups, connecting it properly, and confirming it works before the old unit leaves the house. Skipping that step is how leaks and tipping ranges happen.
We focus on kitchen appliances: freestanding and slide-in ranges, wall ovens, cooktops, over-the-range microwaves, refrigerators with water lines, and built-in units in existing cabinet openings. Laundry installs have their own page and their own set of checks. Dishwashers and disposals also have dedicated installation pages.
Every install depends on hookups that are already there. That means a correct outlet behind the range or fridge, an existing water stub with a shutoff, and an existing gas shutoff valve. If any of those is missing or wrong for the new unit, we tell you before connecting anything.

These are the tasks that turn a delivered appliance into a working one. Each step uses the hookups already in the kitchen. We bring the connectors, brackets and supply lines most installs need.

Install prices depend on the appliance type and the access. A freestanding range is quicker than a wall oven or a built-in refrigerator in a tight opening. Stairs, steep driveways and long carries add time as well.
| Repair | Typical range | What moves the price |
|---|---|---|
| Freestanding range, electric or gas | $165 to $315 | Gas connector and anti-tip bracket |
| Over-the-range microwave | $215 to $395 | Wall plate, stud location and vent direction |
| Refrigerator with water line | $155 to $295 | Supply line, filter flush and door swap if needed |
| Wall oven in existing cutout | $285 to $545 | Single or double oven and trim fit |
| Cooktop in existing cutout | $215 to $425 | Gas or electric and cutout fit |
Installation figures are typical, not fixed. The real price depends on the appliance and the condition of the hookups, and you get it before we unbox anything.
Every visit follows the same order, so you always know what comes next and what it costs.
Call any hour with the new model numbers and what is being replaced. We confirm the hookups it needs.
We measure the opening and confirm the outlet, water valve or gas shutoff matches the new unit.
You get the price before work, then we disconnect the old unit and set the new one.
We leak-test every water and gas fitting and level the appliance on all corners.
We run burners, oven, cooling, ice and dispenser functions and walk you through the controls.

Remodeled kitchens in La Cañada Flintridge, Calabasas, Encino and Studio City often carry pro-style ranges and built-in refrigeration from brands such as Wolf, Thermador, Viking, Sub-Zero and Monogram. These units are heavy, sized to the inch, and need careful leveling to line up with the cabinet faces. A quarter inch off shows as a gap you notice every day.
A 36 or 48 inch pro-style range can weigh several hundred pounds, so we bring dollies and floor protection. Before moving it, we confirm the existing gas shutoff and outlet sit where the new unit's connection lands. Pro models often place them differently.
Measure the opening, not the old appliance. Check the width, height, depth and door swing clearance, and compare the new model's cutout or installation dimensions in the spec sheet. Ranges also need room at the back for the outlet or gas shutoff.
Then check the hookups. Note the outlet type behind the range, whether there is a water valve behind the fridge, and whether the gas shutoff is reachable. If you send us the model numbers, we will tell you whether the existing hookups fit.
Safe checks only. If anything smells hot, sparks or involves gas, stop and call.
Our Sun Valley office sends technicians across the Valley and the cities around it. These are the places we visit most for appliance installation.
No. Appliance installation connects a new range to the existing gas shutoff valve with a new flexible connector. Running a new gas line, moving the shutoff or adding pipe belongs to SoCalGas or a plumbing contractor. We check the shutoff location before the install day.
Yes. Every range we set during appliance installation gets its anti-tip bracket fitted to the floor or wall and engaged with the rear leg. Many ranges set by delivery crews are missing it, and we fit one when we find it absent.
Often, yes. We mount the wall plate into studs, hang the microwave from the upper cabinet, and set the vent to match the existing duct or recirculate. We check cabinet height above the cooktop before starting, since some kitchens do not leave enough clearance.
Yes. During refrigerator appliance installation we fit a new braided supply line to the existing water valve, flush the filter, and check for leaks at both ends. If there is no valve behind the fridge, adding one is plumbing work outside our install.
We measure before the appliance installation starts. If a wall oven or cooktop is slightly off, a trim kit sometimes covers the gap. If the cabinet opening needs cutting, that is cabinet work, and we tell you before anything is unboxed or connected.
Yes. Disconnecting and hauling away the old unit is part of our appliance installation visit. We drain water lines, cap the connection points safely, and leave the area ready for the new appliance before we bring it into place.
