What to have ready when you call
The brand and, if you can find it, the model number. On refrigerators it is usually inside the fresh food door or on the ceiling of the compartment. On washers and dryers it is often under the lid or around the door opening. On ranges and ovens, look inside the storage drawer or the oven door frame.
What the appliance is doing, when it started, and anything you have already tried. A photo of an error code on the display is useful too, and you can text it to the same number after the call if the technician asks for it.
What happens after you call
We give you an arrival window based on where the technicians are working. When the schedule allows, that is often the same day. If something needs attention right now, such as a leak or a failing freezer full of food, we tell you what to do while you wait.
When every technician is already out on repairs during a very busy stretch, we may pass your call to another reliable appliance repair company near you so you are not left waiting. We tell you on the phone if that is the case.
